Faces of the Facts
Jobs & Economy
Made in the USA
We’ve been hearing the “Made in the USA” call for decades.
With deep reservations, Jane Spicer, entrepreneur and founder of Daphne’s
Headcovers (she makes decorative covers for golf clubs), joined the list of
companies outsourcing jobs and materials to cut costs. Jane is a first-generation
American and she didn't want to outsource work, but felt she had no choice to
keep her business afloat.
Fast forward to present day, though, and Jane is bringing jobs back to America.

Student Journalists Capture the Faces of the Facts
Some of our facts are accompanied by special video features called "Faces of the Facts." They bring the facts to life. Look for the links at the bottom of individual fact pages. These character portraits are produced by student journalist teams across America funded by Face the Facts USA. If your college or university would like to be considered as a Face the Facts USA contributor, write us at factdesk@facethefactsusa.org.
